Serenity was born on September 8, 1989 in Bridgeport Connecticut from parents Freddie and Alicia Mejias. At age five her parents moved her and her two brothers joseph and sammuel to Tampa, FL to an area called Town N Country (T.C). It was at age eight when Serenity discovered the gift of her vocal ability; she recalls singing to music her mother played in the house by Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and Tony Braxton. At age ten she entered her school talent show with her brotherSammuel, where they performed a duet to Puff Daddy’s hit song “I’ll be missing you” feat. Faith Evans and 112, they won first place. It was in that moment she realized she could sing for the rest of her life; thus she Pursued to sing and record music at in house studios of close friends. Today Serenity has a vision and drive to inspire and impact the world with her music, as she continues to make her dream come true.
