Youth worker Ian has dreamed all his life of being a farmer. So in March 2017, he and his accountant wife Kim and their three cats are going to pack up and head out from Australia to New York to finally pursue their dream!

This ambitious undertaking has not been a whim. We have a plan. We’re looking to get about one hundred acres to raise Dorper sheep and Wessex Saddleback pigs for a rare meat treat. Yes, this venture is to raise animals to slaughter for food, but we will absolutely treat our animals with the respect and dignity they deserve. Farming is our passion, and in order to ensure quality all around, we will make sure the animals are well taken care of in order to yield the finest meat for harvest.

The primary source of income will be from creating an exciting CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) system. One that removes the need for busy professionals having to scour the local markets during their leisure time by having the markets come right to your office. Farmer to consumer, you can’t get fresher than that.

And we aren’t the only ones who will benefit from this. We want to help other big-dream farmers by allowing them to live rent-free on one acre of our land in exchange for one day’s work at our farm.
